  • Door to Door

    Pick up from your premises, clearance through customs both at point of origin and destination and delivery at the consignee designated address as per your specified instructions. You/ your consignee must, however, provide necessary documents for customs clearance of commercial shipments at origin and destination as well pay duties and taxes if leviable by the customs.Documents and sample shipments do not require such documents.   • In all above service situations we provide our own customs clearance facilities directly (as we have our own CHA), or through our assigned clearing agents.
    Our on board Courier Licence authorizes us to custom clear Express Courier Shipments originated by us or consigned to us at the Express Terminals at Delhi and Mumbai.
    We provide booking and forwarding services for domestic shipments by Air, Rail and Road for time bound delivery.

  • Terms Of Carriage

    In the unlikely circumstances where the shipment is mishandled, the complaint and the resulting claim may be handled strictly within the preview of the terms of conditions of contract of carriage mentioned at the back of the Amrit seair courier air waybill subject to the claims approval by the courier company whose services are used to carry shipment to its destination.

    Procedure to file claim as mentioned below must be adhered to and claim filed within acceptable time limits and with all required documents.

    Claims for delay and damage

    All claims must be notified in writing to the concerned Courier Company within 7 days after delivery of the shipment, failing which no action for damage may be brought against the courier company. Receipt of the shipment by the consignee without written notice of damage on the delivery receipt is prima facie evidence that the shipment was delivered in good condition. As a condition for considering any claim for damage the consignee must make the contents, original shipping cartons and packaging available for inspection by the courier company.

    Claims for loss, non-delivery and mis delivery

    All claims for Loss, non-delivery or mis-delivery must be received by the courier company within 7 days after the shipment is accepted by the courier company.

    Documents to be enclosed for Claim

  • Written Notice of Claim on Shipper’s letterhead.
  • Copy of Invoice.
  • Any other relevant supporting documents.

  • Freight charges

    The courier company is not obligated to act on any claim until all transportation charges have been paid; the claim amount must not be deducted from those charges.


    Legal action

    The right to damages against the courier company shall be extinguished unless a legal action is brought within two (2) years from the date of delivery of the shipment or the date the shipment should have been delivered.

  • Seeds
  • Tobacco and tobacco products
  • Unaccompanied baggage
  • White Goods (fridges, ovens, etc.)
  • Glass & Ceramic Items * (can be carried but will not be insured)

    Also prohibited are: goods moving under ATA Carnet and all temporary exports and imports; goods moving under FCR, FCT and CAD (Cash Against Document); shipments with inherent vice, which by their nature are likely to soil, impair or damage persons, merchandise or equipment; goods, the carriage of which is prohibited by law in the country of origin, transit or destination (eg. ivory and ivory products), goods which attract excise duty (eg. spirits) or which require special facilities, safety precautions or permits. Under applicable law, certain goods may be transported only under prescribed conditions and certain goods are prohibited from transportation by air (eg. liquids in glass containers).

    It is the shipper's responsibility to comply with current government regulations or laws applicable in each country. Shipments are subject to inspection and possible delay by customs or representatives of other government authorities.

    We reserve the right to refuse or suspend transportation of any package which does not set out contact details for shipper and receiver and of goods which, in our opinion, are not practicable for transportation or are not adequately described, classified or packed and labelled in a manner suitable for transportation and accompanied by necessary documentation.

    We will not transport any goods which are prohibited by law or regulation of any federal, state or local government in the origin or destination countries or which may breach any applicable export, import or other laws or endanger the safety of our employees, agents and subcontractors or the means of transportation or, which in our opinion, soil, paint or otherwise damage other goods or equipment or which are economically or operationally impractical to transport.

    Certain items we list as prohibited will be accepted by Interparcel on a contractual basis for shippers with regular volume and the ability to comply with all applicable regulations.
